Fridays – Kalsoy Island Classic | Northern Isles

A whole day’s guided Small Group Tour (1-18 passengers) visiting the islands of Eysturoy, Borðoy and offcourse Kalsoy. Relax while the local tour guide points out all the most beautiful views along the tour and the many Photostops en route.

Sail on a small ferry (Tickets are included) to the beautiful Kalsoy island, where we will visit Trøllanes, Mikladalur, Húsar, and Syðradalur.

The first stop is in  Mikladalur, the home of the famous Seal Woman statue. There you will have time to give her a hug and hear the story behind the legend.

In Trøllanes you can take the guided hike to Kallur Lighthouse and the famous James Bond Memorial.
Here you can also visit the tiny kiosk and visit the VIP Viewpoint of the Puffins and other sea birds nesting nearby.
Those doing the hike will have the to visit the VIP Viewpoint of the Puffins near the Arghús Cabin on their return.

There is also the option to stay in the village rather than do the hike and relax in the Arghús Cabin, right in the local Puffin colony. Enjoy a relaxing moment with Coffee and waffles while enjoying the Puffins right outside the window.

After returning to Klaksvík on the ferry you will be taken back to Tórshavn and dropped off at your hotel.

This is sure to be a day you will not forget anytime soon.

DISCLAIMER: The Puffins are a true Seabird and only come on land during mating season, therefore you will only have a good chance to see Puffins between early May and mid-August.
