Day 2 Tuesday – Visit Eysturoy with us. Strendur,Eiði, the Giant and the Hag, the scenic Gjógv, Elduvík, the southern tip of Eysturoy, a farmers sheephouse, the largest yarn and knitting shop in the Faroes and back through the famous tunnel with the roundabout under the ocean.
Day 3 Wednesday – Vagar Photo Tour. Drive the old Mountain Road out of Tórshavn, see Sandavágur village and the free standing rockface Trøllkonufingur, See the incredible waterfall Múlafossur in Gásadal, walk through the beautiful village Bøur and maybe the optional Hike to Trælanípan, the Lake above the Ocean.
Day 4 Thursday – Take the ferry to Suðuroy, the southernmost island in the Faroes. Enjoy a full day seeing gorgeous scenery, hear amazing stories and enjoy the views from the ferry on the way back.
Day 5 Friday – Visit the Northern Islands and Kalsoy. Drive from Streymoy to Eysturoy and from there to Borðoy and the ferry. Visit Kalsoy with the Seal Woman, the optional hike to Kallur Lighthouse, the James Bond Memorial and beautiful mountains. Stop in Gøta, before heading back to Tórshavn.
Day 6 Saturday – Join the Saga Tour to Sandoy, the 19th Century Church there, an old village, beautiful scenery and visit Kirkjubøur, the old main seat of the Catholic Church in the islands. Visit 2 old churches and the oldest still-inhabited wooden house in Europe. Maybe you will opt for the hike back to Tórshavn instead of the bus.
