Jógvan Hovshólm
Our CEO and Managing Director, Jógvan Hovshólm, started in Tourism in the year 2000 as a DriverGuide. From 2008 until 2016 he worked his own Taxi Company, including as a DriverGuide and Guide and from 2018 full time as a Guide and Driver Guide in his own Company, which became Ferðaleiðarin ÍVF. Now he is working as CEO, Daily Manager and Guide for Faroeway Adventures SP/F. Jógvan guides in all the Nordic Languages as well as English. There is almost nothing he cannot beguile you with about the Faroe Islands.
Mikkjal Thomsen
Our CFO and Computer Wizz, Mikkjal Thomsen, started in Tourism in the year 2017, Today he is responsible for the Daily Bookings, making the Website easy for you to use and as a Bus Driver for Faroeway Adventures SP/F.
James Olsen
Our main DriverGuide on our Daily Tours is James Olsen, a true Jack-of-all-Trades and excellent Driver and Guide. His Mastering of Trades are far too numerous to mention here, so best if you just ask him yourself on one of our Excellent Daily Tours. There is very little about the Faroe Islands that James does not know and can tell you in his own humerous way. James is a Certified Guide having completed a Guide Course held by the Faroese Ministry of Education. James guides in the Nordic Languages, Icelandic and English.
Frank Jacobsen
Our main DriverGuide for Tour Groups is Frank Jacobsen. He has worked many years as a Bus and Taxi Driver and is also a Certified Guide having completed a Guide Course held by the Faroese Ministry of Education. Frank guides in Danish and English.
Ingi á Smið
Our main Guide on our Suðuroy (The Untouched Pearl) Daily Tours and for Hiking Tours is Ingi á Smið. Ingi is a Certified Guide having completed a Guide Course held by the Faroese Ministry of Education. He works mainly as a Teacher in High School in Tórshavn and as a Guide during the Summer.
Johannus Kallsgarð
Our main Guide on Kalsoy and for our James Bond Tours is Johannus Kallsgarð. He owns and operates the northernmost Farms on Kalsoy island as his day job, but was also a main Crew and support for the filming of the end part of the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, which took place on his Farm. Knowing the area better than the back of his own Hand, he is able to Guide you to the Famous Kallur Lighthouse, the Famous James Bond “Tombstone” and tell you many exciting things about the History of his Family Farm, the filming of the James Bond Film and where you get the best Pictures of this amazing island. Johannus guides in Danish and English.
Rani Nolsøe
Another of our Excellent Guides on Kalsoy island is Rani Nolsøe. Rani works as a Guide, organizes Hiking Tours and as a Musician. Educated Cand Tech & Social Science, Rani knows a lot about the Faroe Islands and guides in Nordic Languages as well as English.
Magnus Eliassen
Our local, always friendly and helpful driver on Kalsoy is the one and only Magnus Eliassen. His smile welcomes you to Kalsoy Island. Your safety is his top priority, he knows all the bumps on the roads and how to maneuver in the island's dark and narrow tunnels. Tours onboard are never dull with him because of his humor. He knows a lot of myths and legends about the island. It is always a FUNtastic tour if Magnus is your driver.

We trek for an hour to Kallur Lighthouse. The trek wasn’t easy as we have to tiptoe in a tiny trail up there.But when u was up there , the view was totally mesmerising and beautiful. Words can’t describe it. The landscape , sea and the mountain and even the sky totally combine and make it beautiful .if only I could paint and paint the views up there.
